The Days of our Lives recap for Friday, December 11, 2020, features Ava sensing red flags, Kate standing up for Allie, Philip stepping out of line, and Joey getting a second chance at a regular life.
It was a big day for Joey (James Lastovic). Steve (Stephen Nichols) and Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) showed up to break the news he wasn’t a murderer. He was thrilled but not so happy his parents made a deal with Ava (Tamara Braun). His argument was cut short by Rafe (Galen Gering). He was there to deliver the best news of all. A judge already vacated the sentence and Joey could go home. The Johnson family celebrated.
As for Ava, she and Tripp (Lucas Adams) settled into life as mother and son. Ava promised to stay on the up-and-up from now on. She then asked Tripp about his own legal woes. He gave her all the details of the alleged attacks and the DNA drama. Why were there no charges? Well, mom, because the attack happened in London. That little tidbit seemed to rock Ava. Tripp left and Ava got right on the phone. Call me, ASAP.
Meanwhile, Kate (Lauren Koslow) was called to the station to talk about her gun. Rafe gave it back but not before a long lecture and a chat about how much trouble Allie (Lindsay Arnold) is in now. Kate lost it at the mere mention of the DA pressing charges against her granddaughter.
Kate went home and called Allie over. She reprimanded her for stealing the gun. What were you thinking?! Luckily for Allie, Kate made sure Trask decided to not press charges. Kate then presented Allie with an idea for justice — a civil suit.
Philip (Jay Kenneth Johnson) called out Sarah (Lindsay Arnold) for being at the Inn. She covered her tracks claiming to be giving Xander (Paul Telfer) his stuff. Philip took this as a hint to kiss her but Sarah pushed him away. She was not ready for this, she said.
Meanwhile, Charlie (Mike Manning) was pressured by Xander for secrets. Charlie pretended to play double agent (triple agent even) but then ran right the mansion to update Philip.
Back at the Inn, Sarah tried to spill all to Xander but was preoccupied with the news report Ava was alive. No, that’s not Ava, that’s Angela Vandercamp! Xander was shocked. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
