The Days of Our Lives recap for Friday, November 6, 2019, features a sick child, a blackmail plot gone wrong, a violent mission, and a ray of hope for a lost soul.

Days of our Lives Recap Highlights

The wannabe nuns were getting ready for the real thing but only one was fully committed. Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) was ready to devote her life to God but Lani (Sal Stowers) wasn’t so sure. In fact, Kristen even called her out on her doubts. Their vows were mere minutes away and Kristen told Lani to look deep before taking the leap.

So, Lani did just that. She sat at the altar and prayed for answers. Was this the right move or should she go back to her old life and confess all to Eli? Little did Lani know the love of her life was in Rome. Eli walked in mere seconds after Lani begged for a sign.

JJ Went Off the Rails

As for Kristen, she prepared herself to turn her life over and made her way to the main building. That’s when her life went off the rails. There, in the flesh was JJ (Casey Moss). He stowed away on the DiMera jet, conned his way into Eli’s room, stole his gun, and now had it pointed at Kristen’s head.

Will he pull the trigger? JJ already had visions of Haley in his head. She was begging him to do there right thing and back away. Avenging her death wouldn’t bring her back and she didn’t want him to suffer anymore.

What If…

Back in Salem, Brady (Eric Martsolf) wondered what his life would be like if his daughter lived. They lost their daughter, Kristen lost her mind, and Haley lost her life. Is there any fixing it?

Threats and Promises

Meanwhile, Gabi (Camila Banus) and Chad (Billy Flynn) went head to head. She told him all about her plans to buy Kristen’s shares and even tried to fire Chad right then and there.

He turned the tables though. He blackmailed her, kept his job, and put her on notice about the stock. Kristen loves her little brother and there’s no way she’d sell the shares to his enemy.

A Terrible Twist

Eric (Greg Vaughan) and Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) lived out every parent’s worst nightmare when baby Mickey fell ill. Eric and Marlena (Deidre Hall) rushed the tot to the ER and she was admitted right away.

The situation got dramatic when Sarah showed up with Xander (Paul Telfer) in tow. Eric banned him from seeing the baby and refused to relent. Xander wasn’t leaving, though. He didn’t’ get to see Mickey but he stayed at the hospital waiting for news. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
