The Days of our Lives recap for Thursday, August 6, 2020 features big news for Lani and Eli, Gwen going off the drunken rails, and Kayla and Steve getting back to basics.
Days of our Lives Recap Highlights
It’s a boy and a girl, or two boys, or two girls for Lani (Sal Stowers) and Eli (Lamon Archey). The couple got quite a surprise when they showed up to see Sarah. Lani thought something was wrong, but, no. Nothing is wrong. In fact, everything is twice as right!
Of course, the good news did not come without some new panic. Where do they put the second crib? How will they cope? Can they do this? Yes, they can. This is going to be two times as fun!
Spy Games
Gwen (Emily O’Brien) wasted no time keeping tabs on Gabi (Camila Banus) for Chad (Billy Flynn). She got some dirt but not in the way she expected. Instead of finding a scheme, she came across a bit of a scandal – her man in a towel in enemy territory. To Jake’s credit, he was there looking for a bar of soap.
As expected, the whole ordeal started a whole new level of fighting between the ladies. Gwen took to drinking, Gabi took to being snarky, and the women did their very best to mark their territories.
Falling Back In Love
Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) and Steve (Stephen Nichols) were about to turn up the heat when Roman (Josh Taylor) came banging on the door. Their lovey-dovey moment was put on hold for a visit. Luckily, the intruder did not stay long. Kayla found a way to get him out so she could be back in Steve’s arms.
Xander (Paul Telfer) was also upping his game. He made a date with Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) for dinner and was ready to sweep her off her feet. There were just a few little hiccups, like his anxiety.
It was Jack (Matthew Ashford) to the rescue. He soothed Xander’s nerves, helped him plan it all out, and cheered him on.
Jennifer Is Back
The karma from Jack’s good deed came back in the very best way. Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) arrived at the restaurant just in time for a romantic dinner of their very own. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
