Days of our Lives Recap: Kristen’s Shocking Return To Salem

The Days of Our Lives recap for Friday, June 26, 2020, features Kristen surprising Lani, Gabi’s verdict coming in, and Claire winning over Ciara.

Days of our Lives Recap Highlights

It’s the morning of Lani’s (Sal Stowers) wedding and she was in for some big surprises, starting with Valerie showing up. Eli’s (Lamon Archey) mama was there to make her soon-to-be daughter-in-law a breakfast feast and gift the bride her something borrowed and something blue.

Kristien Is Back

Mere moments after she left, Lani got an even bigger surprise. There was a knock at the door and who should appear but Kristen (Stacy Haiduk)! Yay, her bestie was here! Kristen could not miss seeing Lani on her big day so she donned a habit and made her way to Salem.

As for Eli, he was banished to Rafe’s (Galen Gering) who was not a guest for the wedding. No worries, though. Rafe was happy to have him and even gifted his friend some lovely cuff links.

Gabi’s Fate Will Soon Be Sealed

Rafe had bigger things than Eli’s wedding on his mind. His sister was standing trial for something she didn’t do and he wanted to be with her. It seems the off-screen drama was over already and Justin called Rafe to tell him the judge was back with his decision.

Speaking of Gabi (Camila Banus), she was more worried about Jake’s (Brandon Barash) DNA drama than her own future. She dreamed of Jake waking her up with breakfast in bed and imagined he was Stefan. Her bubble burst, though, when Chad (Billy Flynn) was really the man in the room holding the tray. He was there to mock her while he served Gabi her last meal before lock-up. Gabi didn’t stick around long after that.

A Heartbroken Boy

Chad spent some time with Thomas before heading out. The little boy was upset about Chad leaving again so soon and begged him to stay. Jack (Matthew Ashford) tried to make things better but his promises of zoo trips and ice cream only made Thomas feel worse.

Ben Was On High Alert

Meanwhile, Ciara (Victoria Konefal) kept up her promise of giving Claire (Olivia Rose Keegan) a second chance and demanded Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) do the same. Ben was high alert, and told Ciara so, especially after coming upon Claire with Gwen (Emily O’Brien).

Garage Drama

Gwen ran off to the garage where she spied Luca leaving. He was there to make Jake pay but Jake gave him the book the idea of revenge was put on hold (for now). Gwen was thrilled they were free and kissed Jake. The make-out session was cut short when Gabi showed up. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
