The Days of Our Lives recap for Monday, June 29, 2020, features Kristen making Lani’s day extra special, Eli getting a surprise and Gabi going to head-to-head with Jake’s girlfriend.
Days of our Lives Recap Highlights
The verdict was in and Rafe (Galen Gering) rushed around town to find his sister. He tried the mansion, he tried the square, but of course, he found her at the garage. She and Gwen (Emily O’Brien) were taunting each other and putting Jake (Brandon Barash) in quite a tough spot. He had to break up multiple bickering matches and a physical fight.
The police commissioner hauled Gabi (Camila Banus) away. It was time to face the jury and await her fate. Much to Chad’s horror, Gabi got off on all charges.
Best Friends Forever
Lani (Sal Stowers) spent her morning with Kristen (Stacy Haiduk). The pretend nun helped her bestie get ready and even provided her with her something new and something borrowed. The girls had a ball catching up, but they knew Kristen couldn’t attend the ceremony.
A Surprise Date
Meanwhile, Eli (Lamon Archey) spent his morning with his mom and was delighted when Billy showed up too. What was his old mentor doing there? Billy was Val’s (Vanessa Williams) date. Oh yes, they’ve been dating for quite some time and thought the wedding was the perfect time to step out as a couple.
Lani And Eli Got Ready To Wed
Abe (James Reynolds) made the mistake of being the first to hit up Julie’s Place. He was put straight to work by an overly-demanding Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes). She had him arranging flowers and folding napkins. He obliged until Tamara showed up. They made peace with each other and the past and decided to make this the best day ever for their daughter.
Abe ran off to pick up the bride. Thankfully, he texted Lani when he parked the car so Kristen could run out. Abe caught sight of a nun but Lani covered. The ladies from the convent dropped off a gift, she said. Off to the ceremony they went.
The wedding began and all as well. Lani made it to the alter but that’s when things went wrong. Tamara collapsed to the floor clutching her chest.
Brady Got His Wish
Brady (Eric Martsolf) caught up with Marlena (Deidre Hall) on her way to officiate. They talked about his anger, his revenge plot, and most of all, Kristen and Rachel. He missed them both dearly and desperately wanted them back in town.
After Marlena left, Brady wallowed on the bench staring at Kristen’s pictures. Imagine his surprise when he turned around and saw her standing there. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
