Days of Our Lives Recap
The Days of Our Lives recap for Tuesday, May 12, 2020, features Kristen getting her baby but not quite living her dream, Sarah’s world crashing down, and Adrienne’s loved ones mourning her death.
Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) screamed and Sarah cried, but Sarah eventually gave the baby back. She reluctantly and tearfully gave Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) her little girl. It was the right thing to do even though it felt so very wrong.
Sarah slunk back to the apartment where Rex (Kyle Lowder) consoled her. He praised her for doing the right thing for herself, Kristen, and the baby. Xander showed up but Sarah wanted nothing to do with him. This was all his fault, after all.
As for Kristen, she had Rachel but had to say goodbye to love. Brady (Eric Martsolf) was over the moon about getting Rachel back and was ready to be a family. That dream was crushed when Kristen reminded him she could never go back to Salem. At least not until Victor dropped the charges.
They decided she would take off with Rachel and Brady would return home to fight for her freedom. Hopefully, one day, they would be a family again. He vowed to do whatever it took and they prayed to be together again one day.
It was the one-year anniversary of Adrienne’s death and Justin (Wally Kurth) took to her gravesite to mourn. He cried about missing her, told her he still loved her and tried to let go. That’s where Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) found him. It prompted a discussion about her letting go of Steve. She swore she was over him.
Speaking of Steve, he wanted to go to see Adrienne too. Hope (Kristian Alfonso) talked him out of it because it was late and they opted for drinks instead. That’s where they found Justin and Kayla. The foursome decided to reminisce about Adrienne together.
Meanwhile, Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) lit Ciara’s (Victoria Konefal) world on fire with his proposal. She was thrilled to say YES and even more thrilled by her very odd and personalized ring. It was a washer from her bike from when Ben fixed it up. How sweet (or tacky, depending on who you are). Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
