The Days of our Lives recap for Thursday, May 27, 2021, features one villainess making her great escape, while another one claims severe injury…but can she be trusted?
Days of our Lives Recap Highlight
Despite all appearances to the contrary, Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) is well aware of the fact that she’s done wrong – and she is very, very sorry. That being said, she’s not in the least bit prepared to actually suffer for her crimes. She didn’t enjoy her Statesville blues then, and she won’t be donning them again now.
But how to free herself from her predicament? Blackmail didn’t work. Ditto, a plea to Chad (Billy Flynn) to flex his DiMera muscle. Enter poor deluded Susan (Stacy Haiduk) – she who possesses an overly kind heart and a trusting, childlike nature.
She actually thought Kristen wanted to hug it out…how was Susan supposed to know Kristen was an expert at the Vulcan nerve pinch? And there’s no way she could guess that Ava (Tamara Braun) would help Kristen on her merry way out of the police station.
Let’s Be Clear
There are two things that Gabi (Camila Banus) was insistent on letting Ava know. Firstly, she doesn’t care for the mob princess – at all. Secondly, she and Jake (Brandon Barash) are back together and happier than ever before. She knows Ava’s not particularly interested, but since it was a slow news day…
Blind Faith
Jake has some upsetting news to share with Kate (Lauren Koslow), should she ever awaken from her coma: they’re dunzo. But Jake’s plan to dump Kate once and for all hits a major snag when the patient finally does rouse and realizes that she’s blind as a bat!
Shaky Ground
Xander (Paul Telfer) is this close to ratting out Nicole (Arianne Zucker) and her adultery, and the only thing keeping him quiet is the prospect of employment at Basic Black.
But Nicole’s got Rafe (Galen Gering) whispering in her ear not to trust the baddie, and she’s gotta sell her hire to Brady (Eric Martsolf) – and he REALLY hates Xander! Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
