The Days of our Lives recap for Monday, June 28, 2021, features Kristen DiMera giving sister-in-law Sami Brady DiMera a taste of her own medicine, Jake DiMera and Kate Roberts leveling with one another, and EJ and Chad – the brothers DiMera – deciding to join forces.
Kristen’s (Stacy Haiduk) the kind of woman who reads a little too much into the so-called, “Golden Rule.” She thinks that since Sami was willing to spill all her dirty secrets to the proper authorities, then she’s well within her rights to reveal everything she knows about Sami’s affair with Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo).
And who better to share her knowledge with than her dear brother EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) – Sami’s current hubby? Sure, the truth will probably sting a bit, but he’ll thank her in the long run.
Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) really likes current squeeze Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) – but he can’t seem to shake his burgeoning feelings for good friend Nicole Walker Brady (Arianne Zucker); and that sex dream *ahem* kissing dream he had about her isn’t helping matters.
Rafe’s good buddy, Eli Grant (Lamon Archey), had a lot to say on the subject – and it all boiled down to one salient point: drop Nicole, and do it fast. And no more shared custody of that adorable teddy…that’s just weird!
Jake (Brandon Barash) and Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus) were blindsided by Kate’s (Lauren Koslow) decision to vote against Jake remaining as CEO of DiMera Enterprises. They were then equally as shocked to learn that she’s been faking her blindness AND her amnesia; but what else was Kate suppose to do but confess? Especially in light of the fact that Jake just came out and declared his undying love for Gabi?
Like his cousin Eli, Lucas was full of good advice. The only problem is that Sami doesn’t like to listen to good advice. So, while Lucas was cautioning his ex to drop her vendetta against Nicole, Sami was ignoring him and pondering exactly how to best lure Nicole into a false sense of security, and then make her move.
Over breakfast, lovers Abe Carver (James Reynolds) and Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) debated what exactly her lesbian dream meant, and how they’d best handle their children dating someone of the same sex.
Then they decided to cut the chit-chat – and the meal – short, and get down to some extracurricular activities of their own. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
