The Days of our Lives recap for Monday, November 15, 2021, features the mistress of disguise blowing Gwen Rizczech’s mind, Xander Cook putting Maggie Horton Kiriakis on the spot, and John Black’s love for Marlena Evans Black shining through – despite the Devil’s best efforts.

Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) has got some news for Gwen (Emily O’Brien) – Sarah Horton didn’t exactly do a runner on Xander. In point of fact, she had some help…from Kristen; and by help, we mean she was shot full of drugs, stuffed inside a steamer trunk, and sent on her merry way to a remote island far, far away from Salem.
Oh, and do-gooder Rex Brady got sent to parts unknown via Doctors Without Borders, so please stop asking why he hasn’t he told anyone that Sarah isn’t with him – Kristen’s got this covered, and you should have had faith.
Anywho, Kristen wants Gwen to break her out of holding, or she’ll tell Xander the truth about his almost missus. And wouldn’t that just put a damper on Gander, or whatever the fans are calling the Gwen/Xander romance?

DAYS Recap: Number One Fan
Speaking of Xander…he had a big favor to ask Maggie (Suzanne Rogers). Would she, pretty please – and don’t forget that she wouldn’t be alive today if not for Xander – please talk Gwen up to Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) and the rest of the Hortons?
Sure, Gwen killed Laura, and did a whole lot of other messed up stuff to her extended fam, but she’s really, really sorry and trying to change. And Maggie does believe that everyone deserves a second chance…except for Bonnie Lockhart Kiriakis (Judi Evans); that woman is all kinds of awful.
DOOL Recap: Memory Lane
Nothing is sexier than a trip down Memory Lane – or, at least that’s what the Devil thinks. Unfortunately, getting John to remember how much he once loved Kristen – or, at least the version of Kristen played by Eileen Davidson – didn’t quite do the trick of getting John aroused enough to cheat on Marlena. But the Devil’s got plenty of time.
