The Days of our Lives recap for Thursday, June 24, 2021, features Kate Roberts DiMera sticking to her guns, Chad DiMera failing to intimidate, EJ DiMera making matters worse, and Jake getting a crash course in all things DiMera.

The time has come to oust Jake (Brandon Barash) from the top spot at DiMera Enterprises. But even though the brothers DiMera have the numbers necessary to call the vote, they struggle to come up with enough to actually rid themselves of Jake.
Theo Carver’s (Cameron Johnson) on board; ditto Peter Blake. But what about mercenary Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk)? Might she be holding a grudge against Chad (Billy Flynn) for not spiriting her away to freedom?
After yet another tally, Chad and Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) realize that they might just be at Kate’s (Lauren Koslow) mercy. Chad’s pretty sure he has an in with his former step-mommy; it’s not like she wants him to spill the beans about her faked condition.

But Kate isn’t interested in going against her prey; so Chad – poor stupid Chad – tries his hand at blackmail – completely unaware that Kate helped annotate the blackmail bible.
The Fewer, The Merrier
EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) had a proposition for Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) and Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo): the two of them could hate him to their hearts’ content – but only in private. When thrown together publicly, they’d act as old friends…or, at the very least, people who didn’t want to murder one another. Oh, and Lucas had better keep a wide berth where Sami Brady DiMera (Alison Sweeney) is concerned.
DAYS Recap: Keeping Count
Jake has a lot to learn where his extended family is concerned – how else to explain the fact that he had no idea Benjy Hawk was a person, rather than the family dog? Luckily for him, Gabi’s (Camila Banus) been through quite a few of these recall votes, so she knows the ropes.
Unluckily for the two of them, it becomes apparent that it’s all going to come down to Kate…the very same woman that Gabi spent her evening verbally torturing. Good thing Ms. Roberts DiMera doesn’t hold a grudge! Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
