Days of our Lives Recap: John Set Up the Ultimate Trap!

The Days of our Lives recap for Friday, March 22 features messy secret schemes throughout Salem.

Backstabbing Backstabbers!
Leo’s (Greg Rikaart) plan to play Brady (Eric Martsolf) backfired when Brady played him. He fed Stefan (Brandon Barash) bad intel and the mogul lost a ton of cash. And, he was mad!

So, in turn Leo went after Brady. He expected better from his brother. Blood should trust blood even if there is a scheme in play.

Something good did come out of all the drama. Stefan realized Gabi (Camila Banus) was playing double agent and he put his foot down.

A Non-Issue Wedding
News of Tripp (Lucan Adams) and Haley’s (Thia Megia) wedding plans rocked JJ (Casey Moss) and Claire (Olivia Rose Keegan). Neither took the bombshell well at all.

JJ tried to talk Haley out of it and walk down the aisle with him instead. However, getting married to him was too much for Haley. This is the man who exposed her secret, after all.

As for Claire, well, she acted exactly as you would expect. Her temper ran red hot and her jealousy spiraled out of control. It took Tripp everything he had to calm her down. She would still be his girlfriend even when Haley becomes his wife.

Claire eventually relented, apparently. She acted like a good girlfriend after literally screaming into a pillow.

Caught Red Handed!
Diana felt the heat when she heard the police had the IV bag. They have not processed it yet, John said. So, she ran to the station (posing as a journalist again) to get her hands on the evidence before it was too late.

Little did she know, Lani (Sal Stowers) and Eli (Lamon Archey) were in on a devious plan. At Eli’s direction, Lani took the bag to Hope’s office for lock up and of course, Diana followed her.

However, just when Diana thought the coast was clear, she broke into the office and got a big surprise. There as John sitting behind the desk with the evidence bag!
