Days of our Lives Recap: Jennifer’s Held Hostage

The Days of Our Lives recap for Wednesday, September 19, 2019, features Kristen stepping up, Jordan shutting Ben out, and Jennifer facing a horrifying reality.

I Love Her, Dad

Some father-son bonding lit up the screen. John (Drake Hogestyn) and Brady (Eric Martsolf) shared a run and stopped in the park for a heart to heart about the birds and the bees. Brady admitted he was obsessive over Kristen. John understood. He loved Kristen once too. Stay strong, son.

Counting On Kristen

As for Kristen (Stacy Haiduk), she spent her day being reamed out by Anna (Leann Hunley). How dare she leave her brother to rot away. Tony (Theo Penghils) saved her once and now it’s time to return the favor. It’s the day of his preliminary hearing for crying out loud, do something!

Poor Anna returned to jail and gave Tony the bad news. His sister was not coming to help, or so they thought. In a shocking twist, Kristen DID show up and helped free her brother.

The Hunt Is On

No sooner did Anna leave than Jack (Matthew Ashford) and JJ (Casey Moss) showed up. They demanded to know where Rolf was but they were barking up the wrong tree. Kristen had no idea where the loony doc went.

Speaking of people going missing, the Deveraux men begin to wonder where Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) ran off to. They decided to go check on her.

They will not find her, though. Her captor had her tied up, bound to a chair, and gagged. The terrifying situation had Jennifer frantic. How will she ever get out of this mess and who would be so cruel?

I’m Better, You’re Not

Meanwhile, tempers flared at Rafe’s (Galen Gering). It seems Jordan (Chrishell Hartley) surprised in at court. She was declared sane and was able to come home IF he signed as her caregiver. So, he did. And why not, it’s best for David to have his mother.

Of course, Ciara (Victoria Konefal) took issue with this whole mess. It was only months ago Jordan tried to kill her. Sure, Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) is an actual killer, but he’s better. Much to her surprise, Ben went the opposite way. He pulled his sister aside and tried to bury the hatchet.

Ben promised to stand by her sister’s side but she did not offer the same. His past will always haunt her and she refused to allow him anywhere near her baby. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
