The Days of our Lives recap for Tuesday, January 19, 2021, features Chad losing it all, Jake living the dream, and Xander in the hot seat.
Days of our Lives Recap Highlights
Gwen (Emily O’Brien) sold the cheating story to The Invader and it was all the rage. Even Li Shin (Remington Hoffman) took notice. So much notice he showed up at the mansion to talk to Chad (Billy Flynn).
Welcome To The Top
Poor Chad had no choice but to immediately resign. Shin wasted no time handing the reigns to his new best friend. Chad was out and Jake (Brandon Barash) was the new CEO.
Jake was thrilled to stick it to Chad, but this was unchartered territory. He turned to Kate (Lauren Koslow) for help learning the business.
Abby Moved Out
Chad suffered another blow when he went to talk to Abigail. She was furious about his cheating but even angrier about the humiliating article. She packed her bags and moved her and the children in with her parents.
Eli Questioned Xander
Meanwhile, Xander (Paul Telfer) was blindsided when Eli (Lamon Archey) accused him of kidnapping the twins. Okay, sure, he swapped babies and stole Rachel. And, yes, he used the same Dr. Raynor to do it. But, that was then and this is now.
Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) was no help. She told Lani (Sal Stowers) about Xander joking about having her adopt one of the twins. Even Sarah had to wonder if he had a hand in it. Thankfully, Lani took a more logical approach.
Lani switched gears and asked for Xander’s help. He knew Raynor better than any of them. Xander was reluctant but Sarah forced his hand. Yes, he would be happy to be of service.
Bonnie Proved Her Worth
Meanwhile, Bonnie (Judi Evans) got a cold welcome when she showed up for her date with Justin (Wally Kurth). Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) slammed the door on her face and threw a fit when Justin let her in. How dare Bonnie even be in her house!
Bonnie tried to prove she was a different person by faking her old “true colors” coming out. It did not work on Maggie but it did on Justin. He was sure she was truly on the path to redemption. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
