Abigail (Marci Miller) was so upset she wound up in the washroom with her head in the toilet. The stress, shock, and most of all those drinks did not sit well. Chad (Billy Flynn) stuck close by the door. Gwen (Emily O’Brien) feigned concern and watched on as Abigail unraveled.
All The Reasons Why
Meanwhile, Jennifer (Cady McClain) got her hands on the note and read it for the crowd. There were gasps of shock as the news set in. Jennifer left the party in tears with Jack (Matthew Ashford) right on her heels.
He stopped her in the park and made her listen to his tale of woe. The affair happened months after Jennifer fell into a coma and Jack was losing hope of ever getting her back. Depression set in, Jack took to drinking and grew close to Kate by pure chance. So much so, he went on a bender one night, cried in Kate’s arms, and wound up in her bed. Whoops.

Jack swore up and down he meant to tell Jennifer one day (sure, okay). It just never seemed like a good time. First, she finally woke up, then they had Abby to help, and then a year had passed. Jennifer was livid. There was no excuse for any of this.
I’m Not That Kind Of Woman
As for Kate, she took her lumps in stride. Steve (Stephen Nichols) tried to lash out but she put him in his place. Then, she went to her suite where she told Jake all the details. Her story matched Jack’s. It was a one-night stand they both lived to regret.
Her biggest regret was keeping the note. Why would she do something so dumb? Oh well, what’s done is done.
A Secret Within A Secret
It seems the note was not how the secret originally came out. Gwen learned the dirty details when Jack and Jen moved into the mansion all those months ago. She overheard them talking, learned about the note, and put it all together. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
