The Days of our Lives recap for Tuesday, March 2, 2021, features Jack making a tough call, Abigail and Gabi playing Gwen like a fiddle, and Kristen trying everything to keep Chloe out of Brady’s bed.
Abigail (Marci Miller) sought support from Jack (Matthew Ashford) only to learn he was no longer squarely on her side. His new daughter got to him and played enough of a victim to garner his support. Abigail was appalled. How dare he side with Gwen?
Abby took serious issue with her dad getting close to the enemy and demanded he picks a side. “Me or Gwen, Dad.” Jack refused to choose, which led Abigail to believe he was on Team Gwen. She put him on notice. Abigail vowed to prove Gwen killed Laura and put her away for good.
Meanwhile, Gabi (Camila Banus) showed up at Gwen’s hotel room. She told Gwen all about Abigail’s plan to take her down. Gwen was mildly concerned. Gabi suggested they team up instead. Sure, they despise each other but they each hate Abigail more. The ladies shook hands and made a toast.
Gwen trusted the wrong woman, though. Her drink was drugged and by the time Abigail came calling, she was out like a light.
Speaking of schemes, Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) almost came clean to Brady (Eric Martsolf). She was seconds away from ditching the wig when Philip (Jay Kenneth Johnson) came to the door. Kristen put on her best Susan act as she got Philip to open up about Chloe.
Philip admitted he suspected Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) was into Brady. Kristen nearly went mad. She caught herself just in time to put a new plan in action. She pushed Philip to go after his lady love. The plan backfired, though. Philip called Chloe for a date but she turned him down.
All the while, Chloe laid into Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) about her romance with Xander (Paul Telfer). She told Sarah her Mexico story and being left for dead by her “wonderful” fiancé. Sarah promised Xander was a changed man and she was intent on marrying him. Besides, if Sarah could forgive Xander, everyone else can too.
Over at the Grant apartment, Aunt Paulina (Jackée Harry) made a splash. She hugged Lani (Sal Stowers), was pleased to meet Eli (Lamon Archey), and laid into Abe (James Reynolds) for knocking up her sister. Then, she met the twins. She promised to spoil them rotten.
