The Days of Our Lives recap for Wednesday, September 5, 2019, features a heartbreaking day for Julie’s family, a devastating afternoon for Eric, and Gabi suffering from a bombshell realization for Lani and Eli.
Widespread Panic
Eli (Lamon Archey) and Lani (Sal Stowers) worried about what Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) being alive will mean. They have their engagement party coming up and it puts all Kristen’s enemies in one room. Will this end in disaster? Their conversation was cut short when they got the word about Julie.
Is Julie Dying?
The hospital became the site of many tears and panic. Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) was awake but in dire condition. She needs a new heart or she won’t make it. To make things worse, Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) informed the family the transplant list was off the table as Julie was just too old.
The family took to her side and Doug (Bill Hayes) was a mess. Julie is the love of his life and he cannot imagine life without her. A bomb dropped when Lani came in the room. Julie told her Gabi (Camila Banus) left her to die.
Lani and Gabi Faced Off
Lani went back to the waiting room and ran right into Gabi herself. Gabi and Stefan (Brandon Barash) got word from Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) and rushed right over. However, it turned out to be a big mistake as Lani told Gabi off.
Once at home, Gabi worried about her rival. She left Julie in the park to die, even if it wasn’t on purpose.
A Deadly Struggle
Meanwhile, drama unfolded in Chicago. The goon pulled out a gun and almost shot Eric (Greg Vaughan) but he was foiled by Ben. He made it to the hotel room in the knick of time. Ben and the goon scuffled, the gun went off, and Kristen’s hired hand was killed on the spot.
Unfortunately, he was the only person who knew how to find Nicole. Eric began to get Eric-level distraught, but there was hope. The goon had a cell phone and Vivian (Robin Strasser) used his fingerprint to open it. Will it have Nicole’s number or lead them to her room?n Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC.
