The Days of Our Lives recap for Wednesday, March 18, 2020, features Hope coming around, Evan gaining another win, and Clyde spilling some eerie details about his connection to Orpheus.
There was a collective sigh of relief when Hope (Kristian Alfonso) woke up and came around. She came through okay, however, she didn’t remember anything and had to be updated on everything that happened from way back when Julie got her new heart. She was relived Julie lived, horrified she became Gina, and stunned by all the dirty deeds “she” committed.
Was she really Hope, though? Jack suggested she was putting on an act and everyone was horrified but was he right? Everyone thought he was wrong but Hope really was not acting like Hope. Everyone was just so happy to have her back they ignored any and all warning signs.
The hunt for baby David took several twists and turns. The little guy became ill and Orpheus (George DelHoyo) whisked him away (presumably to the hospital somehow).
It was not a moment too soon. Rafe (Galen Gering) busted down the hotel room door mere moments after Grandpa took off with the baby. Evan denied the kid was ever there but Rafe knew better.
Rafe hauled Evan downtown but that didn’t last long. The DA ordered his release and he was back on the streets within an hour. Evan was all high and mighty about his win.
Meanwhile, Clyde (James Read) had quite a story to tell. He’s known Orpheus was alive for years and even helped him along. Talk about a mistake! He didn’t think it could come to this and his criminal acts would end in Orpheus’s son committing murder.
Ben was appalled and called Ciara to warn Rafe, which she did. Orpheus is alive, Evan is his son, and Clyde has some dirt on the baddie. Little did she know, Orpheus overheard much of her conversation. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
