The Days of Our Lives recap for Monday, March 4 features shocking confessions, a timely escape, and a devastating breakup.
Lani (Sal Stowers) and Eli (Lamon Archey) showed up at the hospital looking for Haley (Thia Megia), but Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) kept a tight lip on her whereabouts. Despite JJ’s (Casey Moss) efforts to keep her hidden, Haley ran away from him, too.
He and Kayla worried she may try to hurt herself again.
In the park, Tripp came face to face with a runaway Haley and brought her home. Just then, she received a call from JJ who demanded to know where she was hiding, but Haley knew better than to trust him again and hung up the phone.
Earlier, Tripp questioned Claire about finding a lighter in her possession, so she lied and said she had taken up smoking but was ashamed about it.
Rafe (Galen Gering) paid Kate (Lauren Koslow) a visit and received an “off record” confession. She was once involved with Ted (Gilles Marini), who she discovered had ulterior motives for her, so she had him dumped off on a deserted Island.
Kate warned Rafe that she fell for Ted when she was most vulnerable, and so there’s a good chance Hope could do the same.
Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) was so deep in self-shame that Ciara’s (Victoria Konefal) desperate plea to save their relationship didn’t work. He confessed to being damaged goods and a major threat to her life.
Right after Ben left, Hope (Kristian Alfonso) found Ciara in bad shape at the hospital. She tried to comfort her, but Ciara snapped! She told Hope she finally got what she wanted and Ben was gone for good.
Ben stopped at the restaurant to collect himself and told Claire that he left Ciara. He realized he had missed a pill and feared the consequences it would have on his state of mind.
