Days of our Lives Recap: Gwen’s Shocking Ally Revealed

The Days of our Lives recap for Thursday, September 24, 2020, featured the bombshell reveal of Gwen’s ties to Salem, Justin going off on Bonnie, and Ben coming home to a not-so-empty hotel room.

It was an odd day for Abigail (Marci Miller). She was thrown off by a picture of herself (okay, it was Kate Mansi’s Abby) until Chad (Billy Flynn) reassured her it was her. Whew, that was close. Abby thought she was losing it again for a minute.

Abigail was okay for now, but she definitely was not safe. Gwen (Emily O’Brien) was plotting her next move downstairs. She was almost caught by Jack (Matthew Ashford) and Jenn (Melissa Reeves). Gwen cleverly covered her tracks and got them out of her hair.

Dangerous Allies

Gwen’s moment came when Abigail and Chad turned up in the living room. The baddie tried to pour Abby a cup of drugged coffee, but Chad ruined that. Caffeine did not mix with Abby’s meds, so none for her, thanks.

Gwen left in a huff and turned up at the prison to see her accomplice – Dr. Rolf! Oh yes, she is working with the mad scientist!

You’re Not Adrienne!

The kiss between Bonnie (Judi Evans) and her lawyer had each of them reeling. Justin (Wally Kurth) was appalled she made a move. Bonnie was convinced she wasn’t the only one engaging in the lip lock. They argued, Justin belittled her, and they each huffed off.

Justin turned to Jack for someone to vent to. Jack was shocked, too. Why would Bonnie do such a thing? Was Justin okay? As for Bonnie, she got some words of wisdom from Jen. Stay away from Justin. He’s your lawyer, not your friend.

Who’s In Ben’s Room?

Meanwhile, Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) was released by the hospital (after yet another nightmare). Go home and heal, Marlena (Deidre Hall) said. Relaxing was not in the cards, though. He got to his hotel room and found a suitcase on the bed. Someone was in his room. Ben called out hoping it was Ciara.

John’s Anger Took Hold

Back at the hospital, Steve (Stephen Nichols) visited John (Drake Hogestyn). He was stunned when John went from calm to furious in seconds. John even accused Steve of trying to move in on Marlena! Steve was shocked, John was sorry, and it was clear there was much more healing to do. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
