The Days of our Lives recap for Monday, May 3, 2021, features Gwen telling falsehoods, Jake and Ben in major funks, and Sami in want of a clarification.
Days of our Lives Recap Highlight
Over at the DiMera mansion, everyone – save for an imprisoned Kate (Lauren Koslow) – is aghast at the fate that has befallen Gwen (Emily O’Brien). At Jack’s (Matthew Ashford) urging, Chad (Billy Flynn) phones an ambulance and orders them to the house on the hill – not the address mind; in Salem EVERBODY knows where that house is located.
At the hospital, Gwen does some fancy footwork. She honestly admits to Chad that they were about to be the proud parents of a baby girl, and she honestly admits that she’s no longer pregnant. But then she goes and outright lies about Abigail (Marci Miller) helping her on her way down the stairs, and she outright suggests that it was the fall that killed her child. Move over Tricky Dicky!
Of Masks And Women
After getting dumped, Jake (Brandon Barash) joined Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) for a rousing game of whose life sucks the most. For anyone interested, the clear winner was Ben…at least Jake’s ex is still in town.
But only for the next few hours – if Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) has anything to say about it, that is. But Kristen had better act fast. Jake’s decided to go on the offensive and win his lady love back.
Playing Catch-Up
Color Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney) all kinds of confused. Did John (Drake Hogestyn) or didn’t John see Belle (Martha Madison) shoot Charlie Dale (Mike Manning)? And did he, or did he not purposefully turn her over to the police? And what’s all this about a hypnosis session, and a recording, and why is Rafe (Galen Gering) being so mean to her family?
Gosh, you lose one day because you’re busy doing the work of a mask-mad villainess and suddenly you don’t even know what’s going on with your own family. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
