Days of our Lives Recap: Gabi’s Knew It Was Real This Time

The Days of Our Lives recap for Friday, May 1, 2020, featured Jake getting a little too much attention, Victor throwing Kristen under the bus, and Rex getting the scoop on Sarah.

Days of our Lives Recap Highlights

It was a day all about Stefan (err, Jake). The new mechanic in town had Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) shaking his head, Ciara (Victoria Konefal) in shock, and Gabi (Camila Banus) on edge.

Ben was thrilled about his new job and took Ciara to meet his boss. Jake played it cool but Ciara did not. She kept going on and on about how much he looked like Stefan and told him the story of his lookalike’s death. Jake joked how it didn’t sound like his doppelgänger would be coming back.

I Didn’t Do It

As for Gabi, she started her day defending herself against the drugging accusations. Lani (Sal Stowers) needled her but Gabi did not budge. She is a lot of things and has done some terribly dirty deeds but this was not one of them.

That mess became the least of her worries when she ran into Jake again. She stopped short and stared, trying to work out if this was really real this time.

Who Really Did This?

Over at the station, Brady (Eric Martsolf) pat his foot down with Kristen (Stacy Haiduk). HE is taking the wrap for the stabbing and that’s that. Her laundry list of charges would send her away for life. At least he had a shot at redemption.

Their plan was derailed by Victor (John Aniston) waking up. He was stable and while he had trouble speaking up, he eventually did. Brady didn’t stab him, Kristen did! Eli was not surprised but what could he do when Brady already confessed and was adamant.

I Know What You Did, Sarah

In Paris, Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) could feel the walls closing in and worked overtime to cover her tracks. It was not easy, though. By the time she was ready to run again Rex (Kyle Lowder) found out about the kidnapping. Sarah made the mistake of going back to the cafe where Rex intercepted her.

He tried to talk her into taking the baby home. She was not having it. Sarah tried to turn the tables and act like Rex was lying. Mickey was hers and nothing would change her mind. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
