The Days of our Lives recap for Tuesday, June 1, 2021, features Kate giving Dr. Snyder a taste of his own medicine, Xander in need of shelter, and Sami in want of an explanation.
Days of our Lives Recap Highlight
He may be a big hulking jerk, but Dr. Snyder (Michael Lowry) is no idiot. He knows that Kate (Lauren Koslow) isn’t blind…hysterical or otherwise. And since she seemed to have total recall of the previous few hours, he was also pretty quick to assume she was faking her amnesia as well.
Kate congratulated her doctor on his observations – then blackmailed him into keeping quiet. Meanwhile, Lucas (Bryan Dattilo) read Gabi (Camila Banus) and Jake (Brandon Barash) the riot act when he overheard them discussing the best way to break Kate’s heart…and a displeased Gabi informed Lucas that he would no longer be boarding in her mansion!
A Whole Lotta Conversation, A Little Action
After making love, Ava (Tamara Braun) and Rafe (Galen Gering) spent an inordinate amount of time talking about Gabi – though neither one questioned why Rafe wasn’t at the police station doing his job; apparently double kidnappings are so par for the course in Salem that the Police Commissioner had decided to sit out the investigation.

Later, the two attempted to eat some breakfast, but that endeavor was interrupted by Nicole (Arianne Zucker) who just had to rush over and talk to Ava about her most recent run-in with Sami (Alison Sweeney).
New Territory
Xander (Paul Telfer) pulled out all the stops to suitably impress Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) and earn her blessing to stay at the Horton House – but his efforts fell flat. Still, since it is technically Jack (Matthew Ashford) and Jennifer’s (Cady McClain) abode, Julie couldn’t very well stand in Xander’s way.
Money Matters
Color Sami less than thrilled to receive a phone call from EJ. How could he possibly justify reneging on a deal that could have jeopardized her health and safety? No answer? That’s fine. Sami can always hang up the phone just as easily as she answered it. (Harrumph!) Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
