The Days of Our Lives recap for Friday, June 19, 2020, features Gwen and Jake facing off, Lucas pushing Allie too far, and Gabi getting two surprise visitors.

Days of our Lives Recap Highlights

Gabi (Camila Banus) was a free woman again, at least for now. She helped get Ari off to school, dropped the DNA samples at the lab (despite Will’s protests), and headed home to get ready for court. It was going to be a rough day and it was about to get worse.

Rafe (Galen Gering) heard about Gabi’s kidnapping drama from Hope (Kristian Alfonso) and ran to his sister’s side. He confronted her about the whole ordeal and then dropped the bomb he never got a chance to speak to Rolf on her behalf. Gabi lost it until she found out why. He was too busy fighting and losing the custody case for David.

Chad’s Home!

As if that wasn’t bad enough, once Rafe was gone, Chad (Billy Flynn) walked in. He was there to watch her go down in flames.

A Messy Kind Of Love

Meanwhile, Gwen (Emily O’Brien) finally paid Jake (Brandon Barash) a visit. The two had it out over their past, their present, and the book. Gwen informed him she would only hand it over if her demands were met. She wanted her cut. Jake informed her that it wasn’t going to happen. When the boss sent more goons he would just point them her way. Their argument turned to talks of their volatile relationship and ended with them in each other’s arms.

I’m Doing This My Way

Drama ensued over Allie (Lindsay Arnold) and her baby. She decided she was having the baby but not sure what to do after that. No sooner had she made that choice than Lucas (Bryan Datillo) came banging down the door. He was thrilled she wanted to keep the baby but demanded she to be in Europe. Allie balked and ran out of the apartment and right to the Kiriakis mansion.

Nicole scolded Lucas and made it clear he was to respect Allie’s wishes, including not bringing Sami (Alison Sweeney) into the fold. This was Allie’s call and that was that.

Kate Had A Tiny Win

At the same time, Kate (Lauren Koslow) ran into Hope on her way to Eric’s and ended up unleashing all her pent up stress. Hope saw how much Kate wanted the ceremony and finally relented. Sure, she would accept the Key to the City, she just wasn’t sure Steve would ever be on board. At least Kate won one battle. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC.
