Days of our Lives Recap: Gabi Gives Working Again With Abby A Hard No

The Days of our Lives recap for Tuesday, March 23, 2021, features Gabi putting the kibosh on another proposed team-up, Roman getting nostalgic, and Paulina continuing to ride roughshod over Lani.

Days of Our Lives Recap Highlight

Abby (Marci Miller) swung by Gabi’s (Camila Banus) boudoir, and wondered if she’d consider reuniting in a bid to revenge themselves on Gwen (Emily O’Brien)…because they worked so well together the last time!

Gabi gave the idea a hard pass. She wasn’t too enthused with the idea of letting herself be consumed with hatred for an ex’s ex, and she’s finally decided to give up on her pursuit of Jake (Brandon Barash) – so Abby’s offer to engineer his and Kate’s (Lauren Koslow) breakup didn’t fly either.

But Gabi did attempt to impart some words of wisdom. Get over it. Get over Gwen, get over her lies and her manipulations, and move on with your life, Abigail…before you do something that you’ll regret. Like, drive away Chad (Billy Flynn) and your children.

Meanwhile, Gwen and Claire (Isabel Durant) ran into one another at Horton Square and Claire gave her former bestie what for. Jeez. Is EVERYBODY in this town related to a Horton? Does EVERYONE think that Abby hangs the moon and the stars?

Gwen told Claire all about her and Abby’s escalating tit-for-tat rivalry, and Claire eventually admitted that she didn’t have any room to judge Gwen. Now all’s forgiven and forgotten, and Gwen has her friend back.

Old Habits…

Blue-collar Roman (Josh Taylor) tried his utmost to convince Kate that he was the only man for her – and that there was certainly no way that the equally blue-collar Jake could compete. Kate was flattered; she couldn’t remember the last time she had two men courting her affections. But Jake, she insisted, was her one true love.

Between A Rock And A Hard Place

Jack (Matthew Ashford) phoned Jennifer (Cady McClain) and told her all about the trouble he’s going through with his daughters. She assured him that he’d manage to work it all out…because Jack is really, really good at problem-solving, and he’s not at all the type to get going when the going gets tough.

Clearing The Air

Lani (Sal Stowers) tried once again to clear the air with Paulina (Jackée Harry), and once again she failed miserably. Damn, that Paulina’s a slick one! Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
