Days of our Lives Recap, Friday, July 12: Caught In the Act

Days of our Lives recap for Friday, July 12, 2019, featured a startling find, a shocking story, and lie after lie after lie.

A Bombshell Discovery
Hope (Kristen Alfonso) put her detective skills to the test and followed Xander (Paul Telfer) to the DiMera mansion. It was with much shock she stumbled upon the secret lever to the hidden passageway. Everything finally made sense!

Let Em Live!
Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) agreed to let Kate and Ted live, but only under one condition – they had to blame their kidnapping on Stefan (Brandon Barash). If she can get her brother out of the way she would finally have a shot at reclaiming her father’s company.

They agreed. When Hope found the pair, they screamed Stefan’s name for the world to hear. Oh yes, it was the bad boy himself and the cops needed to take him down!

Caught In The Act
Over at Doug’s Place, Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) got the shock of her life when she walked in on Stefan and Gabi (Camila Banus) making out on her desk. She threw water at them, yelled at them to get out, and warned she was canceling their event.

Once outside, Gabi made a shocking play for Stefan’s heart. This was more than lust, she said. Maybe it was time to try dating? He agreed.

It was too bad the second he got home his world turned upside down. He was outright accused of kidnapping and Hope swore he would answer for his crimes.

New Roomies
Meanwhile, Tripp (Lucas Adams) went on a mission to find someone to take over Claire’s room. First, he asked newlyweds Will (Chandler Massey) and Sonny (Freddie Smith) but that did not fly. Why would they move from the mansion into a loft? There was even a cook there! Then, he asked JJ and Haley.

Thankfully,  JJ (Casey Moss) was looking for a new place to live. It seemed his landlord didn’t like Haley (Thia Megia) and issued an eviction notice. So, they decided why not? It was better than the streets. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
