The Days of our Lives recap for Friday, April 19 featured a dramatic day in Salem. Rafe was rushed into surgery, Ciara went missing, and Eli got dirt on Ted.
Hope Broke Down
Rafe’s (Galen Gearing) big move weighed heavily on Hope’s heart and she broke down to Kayla. Her husband chose a baby over their marriage, which is only fair since she keeps choosing Ted over hers. She said she did not have feelings for Ted but her actions said otherwise.
Ciara’s Missing
Unfortunately, her day only got worse from there. She ran into Ben and got the lowdown on the DiMera mansion situation. Her husband was shot and her daughter was missing.
Poor Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) was at a loss. He chased the goon but lost him at the last minute. He failed to protect the woman he loves and was angrier at himself than Hope could ever be. They needed to find her before it is too late.
Meanwhile, Ciara did everything she could to save herself, including attacking her attacker. Sadly, her efforts only made things worse. She was smart though and dropped clues like a trail of breadcrumbs.

Rafe Is Safe!
Rafe was rushed to the hospital and had a bullet removed from his shoulder. He’d be okay but would need a lot of rest and relaxation. Always the workaholic he was back on the case the second Eli showed up. He had info about Ted that just could not wait.
Chloe Freaked Out
Over at the club, Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) stepped right over the dead body to have it out with Brady (Eric Martsolf). Sure, he just risked his life to save hers but now it’s time to back off. He has to get out of her business and stay out.
Ted showed up on the scene and was right by Chloe’s side within seconds. She wasted no time telling the DA where she would be staying (the Salem Inn) and for how long. Ted then wasted no time telling his phone friend.
Seduction Tactics
Stefan accompanied Gabi home, which could have been a big mistake. Always a schemer, Gabi decided to use the terrifying evening to her advantage. She talked Stefan into spending the night IN HER BED!
