The Days of our Lives recap for Thursday, July 30, 2020 features Ben facing his past, Claire extended an olive branch, and Allie headed to the hospital for a life-changing event.

Uh oh! Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) was in for a world of hurt. Eve (Kassie DePaiva) saw the opportunity to snag her daughter’s killer and she took it. Oh, boy, did she take it. She planted that bomb, kidnapped Ben, and now there is no way out. He’s finally going to pay for Paige.

Claire: Trust Me, I’m All You Got

While Ben tried to talk sense into Eve, Claire (Olivia Rose Keegan) tried talking sense into Ciara (Victoria Konefal). They both knew she had no part in Ben’s disappearance so it was time to drop the animosity and team up to find Ciara’s man. Claire promised to be right there every step of the way.

Ciara was skeptical but what was there to do? She needed a schemer on her side and who better than her nutty niece? It’s not like things could get any worse, right?

Scammers and Frenemies

Meanwhile, things at the DiMera mansion took a few interesting turns. Gabi (Camila Banus) cozied up to Li Shin (Remington Hoffman) and Chad (Billy Flynn) did not like that one little bit. The closer Gabi gets to the Shin family the worse his chances become of taking back the company.

As luck would have it, Chad would soon have back up. Jake (Brandon Barash) and Gwen (Emily O’Brien) toyed with the idea of moving into his family home. Why not? He’s a DiMera and finally deserves the leg up in life.

The Baby’s Coming

Allie (Lindsay Arnold) was rushed to the hospital and yep, she was in labor. It was a scary situation considering she had weeks left to go. To make things worse, Sami (Alison Sweeney) kept trying to butt in, even demanding to be in the delivery room.

Allie held strong, though. She opted to have Nicole (Arianne Zucker) by her side to coach her through the birth. You bet that had Sami fuming. Oh well, there was nothing the meddling mama could do. Allie put her foot down and that was that. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
