The Days of Our Lives recap for Monday, April 14, 2020, features Xander’s lies coming back to bite him, Kristen struggling with her heartbreak, Brady’s suspicions becoming a reality, and Steve coming back to himself.
Days of our Lives Recap Highlights
Eric (Greg Vaughan) and Nicole (Arianne Zucker) were miracle makers when they broke the news to Brady (Eric Martsolf). Mickey is not his niece, she is his daughter! The news blew Brady away. His little girl was alive and right in his own house.
Being the good guy he is, Brady’s next thoughts were about Eric and Sarah. He asked if she knew and how they were dealing with the bombshell. Of course, they were hurting but Eric assured him they were all about making things right.
Sarah and Xander: I Do. I Don’t.
It was supposed to be the happiest day of Xander’s (Paul Telfer) life but it was anything but loving. Instead of being a blushing bride, Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) was more like an ice queen. No matter, though, he wanted to get the show on the road anyway.

Justin (Wally Kurth) set the stage and began the ceremony with Mickey as the only witness. Xander told Sarah how much he loved her and how much she changed him. Sarah agreed. He is a different guy than she thought. Xander said “I do” and waited in anticipation for her to say it back. But, she didn’t. Instead, Sarah turned on him.
Letting Go
Over at the hospital, Marlena (Deidre Hall) and John (Drake Hogestyn) played peacemakers for Kristen and helped her through her ordeal. Marlena talked her into handing over the baby and worked to keep the hospital from escalating the ordeal. Kristen realized it was time to visit her daughter’s grave and find a way to let her go so this didn’t happen again.
Welcome Back!
Back in Steve’s (Stephen Nichols) room, Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) got her wish when his memory returned. However, all was not fine and good. There was a lot to catch him up on, including his time as SteVano and her current relationship status. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
