The Days of our Lives recap for Friday, June 25, 2021, features a fractious board meeting, Sami Brady-DiMera desperately trying to cover her tracks, and Rafe Hernandez pondering a particularly sexy dream.
Days of our Lives Recap Highlights
Trouble was afoot at House DiMera. The board meeting called by brothers Tony (Thaao Penghlis), EJ (Dan Feuerriegel), and Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) was fast approaching, and it appeared to the trio that their bid to oust half-brother Jake from the top spot at the family company would be a bust.
In a last-ditch effort, EJ planned to contact Kristen DiMera – his troublesome, and on the lam sister; but Sami was having none of that. Sure, Kristen might prove to be the ally her husband needs, but she’s not about to take a chance that her secret rendezvous with her former hubby, Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) becoming public knowledge.
So, despite the odds seemingly stacked against them, Tony, EJ, and Chad soldiered on – and voted against Jake. Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus) sided with her man – naturally, and board member Li Shin (Remington Hoffman) also voted to keep the status quo.
Suddenly, all eyes were on Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow). Would she vote in favor of Jake, or would she side with the family that she’d married into…twice? After deliberately making the assemblage sweat it out, Kate cast her vote…for Chad!
DAYS Recap: Ex-Factor
Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) was a woman on a mission, and that mission was to figure out whether or not Sami (Alison Sweeney) and Lucas got up to any mischief while they were prisoners in the DiMera wine cellar. If she could just get some confirmation, then she’d be sure to get Sami off her back.
With that goal in mind, Nicole cozied up to Lucas – ironically one of her many ex-husbands – and tried to sweet-talk the truth out of him. And though Lucas came thisclose to cracking, he merely copped to some sparks flying between him and his ex.
Days of our Lives: Sweet Dreams
Rafe spent the early part of his morning having one of those dreams. You know, the shirt ripping kind. But rather than starring himself and his current squeeze Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun), the little interlude featured him and Nicole!
Color the lawman shocked – and slightly red-faced. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
