The Days of Our Lives recap for Monday, August 20, featured a day of confrontations and showdowns. There’s definitely drama brewing in Salem!
Shot And Shot Down?
After Will (Chandler Massey) told Sonny (Freddie Smith) that Grandma Kate (Lauren Koslow) handled the Ted situation, Sonny confessed his true feelings for Will.
Will admitted that while they grew closer during this time together, he only had feelings of friendship towards his former husband. Sonny was sad, but hoped that things wouldn’t be awkward between him and Will going forward.
Meanwhile, Ted continued to beg for his life, saying that his actions towards Will were just business. Kate continued to pointed the gun at Ted’s stomach.
Later, when Will called Kate, she informed him that Ted won’t be bothering him anymore. We later saw Kate drinking and snarling that Ted would never have gotten Andre’s money.
Steve Had A Present
Thanks to her big brother Steve (Stephen Nichols), Adrienne (Judi Evans) confronted her tormentor, Bonnie, for the first time. Bonnie, who first tried to elude blame, told Adrienne she should thank her for making her realize that she really loved Justin (Wally Kurth).
When Bonnie asked Adrienne to help her out, Adrienne stomped off in disgust. Hope then came in and threatened Bonnie, who demanded a private phone call.
Ciara and Hope Face Off
Earlier, Hope (Kristian Alfonso) arrived at the loft and found out that Ciara (Victoria Konefal) invited Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) to live with her.
While trying to figure out what was going on, Ciara informed Hope that Ben not only saved her life but saved him from her. Hope tried to appeal to Tripp (Lucas Adams) and Claire (Olivia Rose Keegan) but neither would take up Hope’s cause.
Hope threatened to ruin Ben’s life if he stayed, but Ciara warned Hope that if she did so, she would lose Ciara forever.
John and Marlena Prepared For Their Wedding
Marlena (Deidre Hall) received a rather unusual present: a doll representation of herself wearing her 1999 wedding dress.
The doll was accompanied by an unsigned note: “Good luck at the wedding.” John (Drake Hogestyn) tried to play it off, but Marlena was more determined than ever to get to the bottom of it all.
