The Days of Our Lives recap for Thursday, September 26, 2019, features three major storylines exploding. Jack got his life back, Kate’s family prepared for the worst, and Kristen’s baby dreams came true.
DAYS Recap Highlights
Jen (Melissa Reeves) did everything she could to fight back against Shah (Piter Marek) but it did no good. She convinced him to untie her but he caught her trying to escape and threatened to end her life.
He decided he wanted Jen to watch Jack (Matthew Ashford) watch her die so he called up the mayor and demanded he come to the apartment. Of course, Jack complied. This would be Shah’s big mistake.
Jack burst through the door and words, stories, and threats were exchanged. Jack had enough, jumped for the knife, and threw Shah off his game. He hit his head during the scuffle, which turned out to be the best thing that ever happened to Jack. Jen was safe and Jack had his memory back.

Luck or Mad Scientist Magic?
Over at the hospital, Will (Chandler Massey) tried to talk his dad out of pulling the plug. However, Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) set the record straight. Kate would never wake up and Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) needed her heart. There was no time to waste.
As luck would have it, Rolf (William Utay) paid a visit to Kate’s room on his way to the clinic. He was with her for a few moments but whatever he did, worked. When the orderlies and Kayla wheeled Kate into the hallway for her final goodbyes she opened her eyes! It was a miracle!
