The Days of our Lives recap for Thursday, March 25, 2021, features Ben praying for a spark of recognition, the Grant twins are welcomed into their spiritual family, and Chanel Price makes her presence known.
Ciara (Victoria Konefal) was rather peeved by Ben’s (Robert Scott Wilson) interruption and his insistence that he wasn’t going anywhere until she heard him out. Jeez, can’t she just be left alone to smell her flowers and reflect on what might have been with Theo (Cameron Johnson)?
First, Ben pulled out the big gun – a framed photo of him and Ciara on their wedding day. Photoshopped poppycock, cried Ciara. Second, he presented her with her engagement ring. No, not the pretty diamond one mind; the original washer version.
That didn’t do much to convince Ciara either. Nor did Ben’s recounting of their rocky road to the altar and beyond.
Roman (Josh Taylor) interrupted the forced stroll down memory lane, showed Ben the door, and admitted to Ciara that yes, she is indeed married to that man. Oh, not to mention the fact that she’s forgotten a year – or four.
An overwhelmed Ciara fell into the arms of a visiting Theo and decided that the comforting cuddle was even better than the previously given flowers.
Jules and Carver’s christening brought about some heartfelt speeches and promises – including one from Valerie (Vanessa Williams) to be even less of a stranger moving forward. Perhaps there’s hope for her and Abe (James Reynolds) yet!
Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) and Paulina (Jackée Harry) well and truly buried the hatchet, and at the conclusion of the ceremony, the group retired to Julie’s Place for more toasts and a hearty meal.
Chanel (Precious Way) blew into town and wound up making Claire (Isabel Durant) and Tripp’s (Lucas Adams) acquaintance. The new girl promised to treat her friends to some delicious champagne…but when it came time to pay the bill, Chanel attempted to scamper.
Not so fast, said Claire. She’s not about to let herself be conned by a con artist; even if the mimosa she sipped was absolutely delicious. And when the extended Grant/Carver family arrive on the scene, Claire happily informed them of her trouble.
Hey, said Paulina. That may be a con artist, but she’s also my daughter! Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
