The Days of our Lives recap for Thursday, June 3, 2021, features Chloe going to great lengths to escape Jan’s clutches, and Chanel putting her best foot forward.
Days of our Lives Recap Highlight
Jan (Heather Lindell) was desperate to unload Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin), but she was having a heck of a time figuring out who’d want her…and be willing to pay. Jan finally decided that Philip (Jay Kenneth Johnson) was the most likely of candidates, and she called the businessman with a proposal – get her a boatload of cash, access to the Kiriakis family jet, and as many gummy bears as humanly possible.
Philip gallantly took the assignment…but it was Chloe who wound up making a move for her captor’s gun. Now we’re left to wonder who that errant bullet struck!
Daring Rescue
Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) and Claire (Isabel Durant) found themselves in oh-so-familiar territory, though this time, it was Claire who was trapped by a wall of flames. Ben managed to subdue the blaze and get Claire unstrapped from her chair, and Claire, in turn, made Ben feel better about his and Ciara’s untenable situation.
Later, while Claire paid her imprisoned mommy a visit, Ben took a nostalgic tour of the burned-to-bits cabin, and came this close to signing those divorce papers…but a cooler head prevailed.
Pump The Breaks
Paulina (Jackée Harry) is back in town, and even though he’s happy to see her, Abe Carver (James Reynolds) has got her number. He knows that altruism isn’t the reason for her Town Square initiative – it’s stone-cold capitalism. But he’s fine with that too. The disenfranchised will still get a helping hand.
And that’s just what Chanel (Precious Way) is counting on. The young woman has but two talents: turning heads, and baking…and it’s the latter that she wishes to parlay into a business. But she’s going to need Abe’s backing.
