Days of our Lives Recap Highlights
Kate (Lauren Koslow) and Jake (Brandon Barash) managed to hide their affair from Chad (Billy Flynn) but it was a close call. They agreed to maybe do this again someday — or not, we’ll see what happens.
Secrets And Lies
Chad laid into Kate about her night with Jack (Mathew Ashford) and its impact on the family but she was not having it. She and Jack were consenting adults and everyone needed to deal. Kate assured Chad even Abby would be okay one day.
Jake snuck downstairs where he found Gwen (Emily O’Brien) lurking about. He called her out on being behind the scheme. Once again, she mocked him. However, the more she protested the more Jake was sure. Later, she saw Kate carrying Jake’s jacket out of the room. Gwen was not the only one with a secret.
A Bad Scene
As for Abigail, she was still very drunk when she came home. Gwen comforted her and Jake put her to bed on the couch. That was a big mistake. Her head was still on Jake’s lap when Chad walked into the room.

Philip Almost Slipped
Xander (Paul Telfer) dug for dirt on Philip (Jay Kenneth Johnson) but it backfired big time. He thought he had a lead but he got the runaround from Victor (John Aniston) and put in his place.
Victor was not suspicious but Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) was after witnessing Philip throwing a tantrum. He claimed his outburst was over a business deal but she knew better.
Rejection
Meanwhile, Charlie (Mike C. Manning) retreated to the office after seeing Claire (Isabel Durant) with Theo (Cameron Johnson). He whined to Xander who gave him some love advice. Pursue, pursue, pursue! That’s what he did with Sarah and it worked.
Little did Charlie know, he did not have to work too hard. Theo gently backed away from Claire and made it clear she was not the one for him. He had someone waiting for him at home. Claire ran right to the office to claim her new man and was bewildered when Charlie gave her the cold shoulder. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
