The Days of Our Lives recap for January 25-29, 2021, features Brady down for the count, Kristen seeing green, Ciara getting the caged bird treatment, and Allie putting the pieces together.
Brady’s (Eric Martsolf) plea for Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) to distance herself from Philip (Jay Kenneth Johnson) fell on deaf ears, so he resigned himself to helping his errant uncle out of his jam.
But a case of mistaken identity resulted in Brady taking a bullet to the chest…and Chloe becoming a prime target for a murder-minded Kristen (Stacy Haiduk), who had been an earwitness to Brady’s shooting.
After making her way out of Statesville, armed with a prison officer’s service weapon and using Tony (Thaao Penghlis) as a human shield, Kristen arrived at Brady’s bedside, and took aim at Chloe! John (Drake Hogestyn) was able to talk his ex around, and she was eventually led back to the slammer…but not before issuing a dire warning to her would-be love rival.
While Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) tried his damndest to explain to Claire (Isabel Durant) his feeling that Ciara (Victoria Konefal) was trying to reach out and communicate with him, his lady love did her utmost to convince her captor – a roguish charmer named Rhodes – to release her from plex-glassed prison.
She didn’t get anywhere, however, since all Rhodes was interested in was collecting the check that Vincent was still able to send him every month for services rendered.
Allie (Lindsay Arnold) finally submitted to therapeutic hypnosis – but with much trepidation. During her session, Allie was able to recall the exact details of her rape, and much to her horror, everything that Tripp (Lucas Adams) had long claimed was the absolute truth.
He had indeed escorted her back to the room, danced with her for a brief time, and helped her get into bed. And he had written her a farewell note. With Marlena’s (Deidre Hall) guidance, Allie was then able to relive her assault at Charlie’s (Mike Manning) hands.
Meanwhile, the walls closed in around Charlie. First, Tripp summarily revealed that a DNA test proved that he was Henry’s father. Then, Shawn (Brandon Beemer) arrived to place him under arrest for Allie’s rape.
In the aftermath of her session, Allie sought out Tripp and issued a sincere apology…but it might be a case of far too little, far too late. His reputation is in tatters, his life has been threatened multiple times, and his relationship with his stepmother may be beyond salvaging. But at least Allie feels better.
The stress of fearing for Jules and Carver’s safety sent Julie’s (Susan Seaforth Hayes) ticker racing – and forced her to seek medical aid. Thank goodness no one told her that the twins’ return may rest squarely on Xander’s (Paul Telfer) shoulders. Days of Our Lives airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
