The Days of Our Lives recap for Monday, April 27, 2020, features Brady standing by the woman he loves, Ben getting quite a shock, Gabi mourning Stefan, and Abby going off the rails. It was an explosive day of Salem-style drama.
Days of our Lives Recap Highlights
The police station and hospital were hubs of activity in the aftermath of Victor’s (John Aniston) attack. Lani (Sal Stowers) and Eli (Lamon Archey worked to put the pieces together while Brady (Eric Martsolf) got the whole sordid tale from Kristen (Stacy Haiduk).
Stand By Your (Wo)man
In the end, Brady wiped Kristen’s prints off the knife, put his own on the knife, and confessed to the stabbing. If she went down she’d stay in jail forever, but he knew he stood a chance at redemption. His granddad did plot the kidnapping of his daughter, after all. Kristen tried to stop him but what’s done was done and Brady was not backing down.
Introducing Jake
Meanwhile, Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) got a shock when he got the lowdown on Jake (Brandon Barash). The mechanic looked, sounded, and even kind of acted like Stefan but claimed it was a mere coincidence. Ben was amused and asked him for a job anyway. Why not have his new boss look just like his old one?

Gabi: A Broken Woman
Speaking of Stefan, Gabi (Camila Banus) opened up to Will (Chandler Massey) about seeing her dead husband. She thought it was a manifestation, especially since it felt like everyone wanted to erase his existence. Will listened and gave Gabi a shoulder to lean on. Little did she know she did see that face and Jake seemed to like lurking around her shop.
A Shocking Step Back
Over at the DiMera mansion, Abigail (Kate Mansi) had a breakdown thinking Chad (Billy Flynn) was Ben. She screamed for help thinking the necktie killer was there to get her. They decided she needed help and Chad took her to the hospital for an evaluation.
It wasn’t long before everyone was updating everyone on the hospital goings-on. Chad told Gabi about Abby, Gabi told Chad about Victor, and Ben told them about his new pal. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
