Days of our Lives Recap: Ben Was Ready To Repeat History

The Days of our Lives recap for Tuesday, August 25, 2020, features Eve battling her subconscious, Ben ready to kill, Rafe getting a shock, and Sami suffering the consequences of her actions.

Days of our Lives Recap Highlights

Rafe (Galen Gering) apologized for kissing Hope (Kristen Alfonso). It was all good, though, because she wanted it, too. Talk turned to a reunion and what would come next. Neither was sure. So it was back to the case they went, with each of them thinking about the future.

Eve Breaks Down

As for Eve (Kassie DePaiva), she hallucinated about her daughter and had a crisis of conscience of sorts. Paige (True O’Brien) acted as the only moral compass Eve had left, begging her mom to call off the kill orders. Eve claimed that she needed revenge. Paige told her that she needed peace. By the time that Eve came around, Hope was watching her.

The Kill Room

Unfortunately, the murder plan was already beginning. Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) had Ciara (Victoria Konefal) trapped in the dorm. At first, he claimed that it was part of his therapy, but it was soon clear that he was lying. He locked the door and took Ciara through all the terrifying and gory details of Paige’s horrific death.

By the time that Ciara realized how bad things were, it was too late. Ben was off the rails, asking her to forgive him. He told her that he loved her, but that he had to do this; he had to kill her. Ciara sobbed and begged for her life.

Welcome Back, Dad

Meanwhile, Rafe went home to find an intruder in his house. He was ready to pull his gun when the visitor turned around to reveal himself. It was his father, Eduardo (A Martinez).

Sami Suffered

All of Sami’s (Alison Sweeney) lies and manipulations caught up with her today. She also got an earful from Justin (Wally Kurth). She asked him to recuse himself from the case, and he flat-out said no. If it wasn’t for her, Will (Chandler Massey) and Sonny (Freddie Smith) would be new parents again. That’s okay, she knew Belle could take him. Not so fast, Sami.

Nicole (Arianne Zucker) made Belle (Martha Madison) aware of the hateful things that Sami had said to John (Drake Hogestyn). Belle promptly dropped Sami as a client. You’re on your own, sis. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
