Days of our Lives Recap: Ben Prepared To Kill His Wife

The Days of our Lives recap for Monday, August 24, 2020 features Ben taking Ciara on a trip back to the past, Eve mourning her daughter, and Nicole getting the goods on Sami.

The hunt for Eve (Kassie DePaiva) heated up when a tip came in about her whereabouts. Rafe (Galen Gering) and Hope (Kristian Alfonso) made a beeline for the motel, but they were too late. Eve was gone.

The Kill Room

Meanwhile, Ciara (Victoria Konefal) was focused solely on Ben. So much so, that she didn’t notice Vincent hiding up against the wall. Vincent even managed to make it out of the room without Ciara knowing a thing. She and Ben then got ready because he was taking her on a field trip that she would never forget.

The couple made their way to Paige’s old dorm room. Ciara did not realize where they were or why until Ben delivered the shocking news. They were there because he was going to kill her.

Paige Comforted Eve

As for Eve, she was hiding in plain sight, too, at Paige’s grave. She mourned her daughter, telling Paige that the time had come for their revenge. Vincent arrived and confirmed that their plans were in place… for sure, this time. Eve was delighted. Then Paige’s ghost appeared and Eve broke down.

Nicole And Sami Fought

Sami (Alison Sweeney) also broke down. She left the baby (whom she claimed to have named, but it’s a secret) with Belle (Martha Madison) and went to the hospital. She was there to see John (Drake Hogestyn) but wound up in a confrontation with Nicole (Arianne Zucker). There were screams, some name-calling, and even a shoving match.

Eric (Greg Vaughan) broke up the scene. He’d had enough of Sami, and he went to talk Belle into not siding with their sister. Belle admitted that she hated being caught in the middle, but what’s done is done, and she had already promised to see this through.

Sami Made A Confession

Sami held Marlena (Deidre Hall) tight in the chapel and confessed. She and John weren’t just talking when he collapsed. They were fighting, and Sami had said some hateful things. She even admitted to trying to keep it all a secret so that Belle wouldn’t drop her case. Little did they know, Nicole was listening.

Nicole ran right to the apartment to give Belle the lowdown. Poor Belle was devastated to hear that Sami was the reason her father was in the hospital. It didn’t surprise her, though.
