The Days of our Lives recap for Thursday, April 22, 2021, features Ben’s heart breaking, Brady disappointing Chloe, and Sami doing what she does best – manipulating Lucas.
Days of our Lives Recap Highlight
Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) wasn’t in the least bit thrilled to learn from his wife that she’s upping stakes and moving to Johannesburg with Theo (Cameron Johnson). He tried in vain to dissuade Ciara (Victoria Konefal) of the notion, but she was adamant.
Staying in Salem was just too painful. And since she doesn’t remember her life with Ben, or her reestablished friendship with Claire (Isabel Durant), and since she no longer has a mother interested in checking on her well being – seriously, where the heck is Hope?! – Ciara has absolutely no ties to her hometown.
Plus, Theo is hella cute and he makes her feel safe and secure; added bonus, he’s yet to kill a single person…can Ben say the same?
One Track Minds
Kirsten (Stacy Haiduk), Sami (Alison Sweeney), and Vivian (Linda Dano) were all women on missions. Kristen had the quadruple task of keeping up her Susan pretense, steering Brady (Eric Martsolf) clear of Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) AND Vivian, as well as trying to figure out a way to break up Kate (Lauren Koslow) and Jake (Brandon Barash).
Sami was doing her utmost to help Kristen with her second problem…well, we say help. She was actually being blackmailed into keeping Brady and Chloe apart – semantics.
To further her goal, Sami roped Lucas (Bryan Dattilo) into an audacious scheme. He’s going to seduce Chole, make her fall in love with him all over again – and, inevitably get cheated on. Let’s just say Chloe has a problem being loyal to one man at a time.
Meanwhile, Vivian exercised a modicum of control over Kristen in hopes of forcing her to fast-track operation “Untangle Jacob From That Old Tramp.”
Kristen reluctantly complied…but she also warned Vivian to stifle, lest she wind up drugged and stranded on a desert island à la Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey). Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
