The Days of our Lives recap for Wednesday, August 26, 2020, features Ben fighting the urge to kill his wife, Eve and Eddie making bombshell confessions, and Sami playing dirty.
Days of our Lives Recap Highlights
Hope (Kristian Alfonso) arrested Eve (Kassie DePaiva), and things went downhill from there. Eve admitted to blowing up the church, and to all of her sinister reasons why. She wanted Ben alive so she could program him to continue his work and kill his precious wife.
Ben Went Off The Rails
Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) had his orders, but he also had his heart. The necktie was in his hand, and he was ready. Thankfully, in a moment of clarity, he pushed Ciara (Victoria Konefal) into the bathroom, screaming for her to lock the door and keep him out. Of course, she didn’t listen. She eventually unlocked the door, only to be chased back in. Ben went on a rampage.
A miracle happened when Hope managed to get through to Eve and get her daughter’s location. She made it to the dorm just as Ben was busting through the bathroom door and grabbing at the lock.
Eddie Dropped A Bomb
Speaking of dangerous situations, Rafe (Galen Gering) faced off with his father and heard his tale of woe. Eduardo (A Martinez) tried to deflect and downplay his visit, but the truth came out. He was there to go on the run to Mexico with Rafe and Gabi (Camila Banus). The man tried to play it off as if the duo needed to go see her mother, but the reality was that their lives were all in danger.
Gabi Kissed Jake
Eduardo had Rafe’s attention, but Gabi was dealing with other things. She was at the DiMera mansion, trying to talk Jake (Brandon Barash) into going to Kansas City to seal a business deal. She needed this to not only get to the top of the company but also to keep her daughter.
At first, Jake wasn’t going to budge, but seeing the mama bear come out in Gabi softened him up. So much so, the pair ended up in a passionate kiss.
Sami Went Ballistic
Sami (Alison Sweeney) was good and smug while walking into the custody hearing, but she got a rude awakening when the judge awarded Eric (Greg Vaughan) and Nicole (Arianne Zucker) temporary custody. Allie’s letter plus Sami’s attitude made that case a slam-dunk for the Bradys.
Well, Sami was not going out quietly. She stood up and screamed about all of Nicole’s dirty crimes. Sami laid out Nicole’s past as a baby-snatcher and a murderess! The judge was floored. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
