Days of Our Lives Recap: Ben Begged Ciara To Believe Him!

The Days of Our Lives recap (DOOL) for Wednesday, August 8 features Chad (Billy Flynn) reaching the breaking point about Abby’s (Marci Miller) baby.

The drama between Chad, Abby, and the baby that’s allegedly Stefan’s (Tyler Christopher) continued.

Chad finds it difficult to accept that Abby’s carrying Stefan’s baby, and even went so far as to tell Marlena (Deidre Hall) about it before she’s due to meet the couple for their weekly session.

It doesn’t help matters that Gabi (Camila Banus) is still filling Chad’s head with the notion that the baby isn’t his, even though she’s the one who switched the paternity test results.

But if Abby’s brother JJ (Casey Moss) manages to appeal to the shred of decency left in Gabi, she just might back off her plan of revenge after all. But will it be too late for Chabby by the time she finally lets up?

Meanwhile, Abby relented slightly on her decision to let Stefan into her baby’s life by letting him touch her stomach after a kick. Of course, Chad walked in just as this was happening.

Meanwhile, Marlena informed Hope (Kristian Alfonso) that she’s convinced that Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) didn’t start the fire. Hope is none-too-pleased, especially when Rafe (Galen Gering) told her that he’s on the verge of dropping the investigation.

Most of Hope’s agita about Ben comes from what she feels is his “obsession” with Ciara (Victoria Konefal). But Rafe reminded Hope that there’s a light at the end of the tunnel: if he drops the investigation against Ben, she can still get him to leave town.

Finally, Ben confronted Ciara and Tripp (Lucas Adams) just as they were headed to the bedroom because he was bound and determined to tell Ciara that he didn’t start the fire.

When Tripp tried to cut him off, Ben reminded Ciara that Tripp broke her heart once before, and she’s risking it happening again.
