The Days of our Lives recap for Thursday, February 25, 2021, features the beginning of a murder mystery and a fresh outlook for a kidnapper.
Claire (Isabel Durant) was on edge. Shawn (Brandon Beemer) called her up and she assured her dad she was home, fine, and safe. She claimed she was with Allie until the wee hours.
Ben showed up and distracted Claire with a new problem. He and Ciara shared another dream. They went through Rhode’s things looking for clues again. Ben noticed the books in the box matched the ones Ciara’s been holding in his dreams.
As for Ciara, she was worried when Evan (Brock Kelly) got into a tiff with Orpheus (George DelHoyo). The jailbird was insistent they use Ciara as a means for his freedom and ransom. Evan had other ideas. He wanted to torture the woman who destroyed his life.
Meanwhile, Marlena (Deidre Hall) laid into John (Drake Hogestyn) about being out all night. Sorry, doc, I was too angry to sleep. John told a tale of rage driving and winding up at Charlie’s place. He does not remember what happened or when he left. He just knew at some point he decided to get some sleep.
The black-out story worried Marlena. She rushed John to the hospital to be checked out. His head began pounding worse than ever before.
Other people had some answering to do, especially Ava (Tamara Braun). Rafe (Galen Gering) called her out for not sleeping in her bed. Joke’s on you, roomie, Ava was up early and made her bed before sunrise. That sounded reasonable.
Ava then went on and on about how she failed Charlie (Mike Manning). She was a terrible mother who ignored him and never connected with him because he was not Tripp and his dad was not Steve. She even admitted to being a horrible mother.
The talk was interrupted by a call. There were gunshots at Charlie’s house and Rafe ran out to investigate. Ava hung back and stared at a photo of Allie and Henry.
Charlie’s door was ajar so Rafe invited himself in. He found Charlie on the floor dead and went to call it in. He quickly realized he was not alone. Sami (Alison Sweeney) was there wiping off the door handle. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
