The Days of Our Lives recap for Thursday, January 9, 2020, features SteVano stepping up his game. He faced off with Jack and revealed himself to Kristen.

SteVano (Stephen Nichols) gave the performance of a lifetime when Jack (Matthew Ashford) showed up at the townhouse. The men faced off over “Steve’s” secret homecoming, skipping out on Adrianne’s funeral, and divorcing Kayla. SteVano was rude, mean, and gave Jack a run for his money. Jack ended up leaving confused, angry, and in quite a huff.

Steve: A Big Mistake

While going over the showdown with Jen (Melissa Reeves), Jack realized something wasn’t quite right. Steve claimed he and Kayla had three kids instead of two. They agreed something was off and. He wasn’t the same man anymore.

A Flip Floppy Day for Kristen

Meanwhile, siblings Chad (Billy Flynn) and Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) also had it out. He was irked over her new job, she promised it was for the greater good, and they argued about her shares.

Kristen made it clear her shares were her shares but she’d gladly keep teaming up to take Gabi (Camila Banus) down. Chad warned their father wouldn’t like this plan one little bit.

Kristen’s day went from bad to worse when she ran into Nicole (Arianne Zucker) and Brady (Eric Martsolf). She didn’t like seeing them together but said it wouldn’t get in the way of their work.

Later, Kristen got the shock of her life when SteVano showed up at her door. She let “Steve” in, demanded to know what he wanted. SteVano prepared to reveal himself.

Is Bad News Coming?

Meanwhile, it was a tearful day a the hospital as everyone waited on news about Victor (John Aniston). Xander (Paul Telfer) prayed in the chapel and Ciara (Victoria Konefal) cried in Justin’s (Wally Kurth) arms. Of course, they had more than just Victor to worry about. Xander was beside himself about Mickey as well. Plus, Ciara was sick about Ben.

Ciara’s worry for her boyfriend went over the edge when Justin got a call. The court reached its decision about his fate. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
