The Days of our Lives recap for Friday, February 28, 2020, features Rafe and Ciara connecting all the dots, David going missing, Ben praying for a miracle, and SteVano making a bombshell demand.
It was a bad day for David’s daddy. Rafe (Galen Gering) confronted Evan, aka Christian, and promptly fired. Christian (Brock Kelly) claimed he changed his name to simply get a job but Rafe was not having it. He sent the Manny to pack his things. Big mistake.
At the same time, Ciara (Victoria Konefal) confirmed her theory was right. Christian killed Jordan and his DNA was on the body. She ran to Rafe’s house to spill all. It was the moment Rafe realized he had a killer in his house.
Rafe ran to the room to snatch Christian but he was gone and he took David with him. Fortunately, Christian didn’t go very far. Instead of skipping town, he stopped by the Kiriakis mansion instead.
The Manny was in for a shock to find Sonny (Freddie Smith) with Will (Chandler Massey). Sonny admitted they spent the morning bonding and yes, getting back together. Christian did not take the news well and pulled a gun.
Meanwhile, Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) ate his last meal with Clyde (James Read). They munched on pizza while going over what comes next. He also had a visit with Marlena (Deidre Hall). He thanked her for helping him get better and assured her he accepted the inevitable. His only hope was for Ciara to find Christian and that didn’t seem likely.
Operation “Rescue Kayla” was in full force with Justin (Wally Kurth) jumping through hoops to save his girlfriend. He came up with the $10 million the baddie demanded but SteVano wanted more. He also demanded Justin bring him Marlena. Justin had no choice and set off to track down the doc.
As for Kayla, she was being held by Rolf (William Utay) and quickly realized she was in danger of becoming his next experiment. She was quick to save herself, though. She distracted the mad scientist long enough to untie her hands. Unfortunately, SteVano came back just as she was about to escape. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC.
