The Days of our Lives recap for Wednesday, December 9, 2020, features Ava stating her case, Rafe getting all the dirt, and Gwen pulling out all the stops.
Days of our Lives Recap Highlights
Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) went ballistic when she found Ava (Tamara Braun) in her apartment (wearing Steve’s shirt, no less). She lunged, grabbed Ava by the throat, and tried to finish where Joey left off. Steve broke up the battle and tried to calm Kayla down.
Ava then presented her offer. If Kayla let her walk free from the kidnapping charges, she would halt any additional charges against Joey. Kayla was furious.
Nicole Had Her Say
Meanwhile, Nicole (Arianne Zucker) ran into Tripp (Lucas Adams) in the square. She had her say about his denial, laid into him about ignoring his son, and surprisingly offered to let Ava see the baby should she want to. She may despise Tripp, but Ava’s an old friend.
Rafe Got What He Needed
Back at the apartment, Allie (Lindsay Arnold) got a surprise when Rafe (Galen Gering) knocked on the door. She was happy he was back. The pair caught up on everything including the rape, her showdown with Tripp, and Ava taking away the gun.

Rafe then hightailed it over to Kayla’s apartment. He banged down the door, took out his cuffs, and read Ava her rights.
Manipulative Moves
Over at the park, Gwen (Emily O’Brien) covered her tracks by blaming her tantrum on cheating men, Jack (Matthew Ashford) and Jake (Brandon Barash) in particular. Is Jennifer not angry too? Yes, she is. Enough that Jenn picked up the bat and got some anger out too.
Speaking of cheaters, Chad (Billy Flynn) accused Abigail (Marci Miller) of sleeping with Jake. She lost it, of course. How dare he accuse her of such a horrendous thing?! She eventually forgave him after a talk with her dad, but she swore she would not forget anytime soon.
No sooner did Chad leave than Gwen came in. She secretly smirked when she heard about the drama. It pleased her to know Abigail’s marriage was on the verge of collapse.
Please Forgive Me
Later, Jack ran into Jennifer at Julie’s place and tried to talk to her. Unfortunately, his wife just was not ready yet. Jennifer still needed space. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
