Poor Tripp is freaking out in the Days of our Lives spoilers as his DNA looks to be a match for Allie’s baby. But how can that be when he knows he never laid a hand on Allie and he most certainly never raped her. It just doesn’t make sense! Unless it turns out… that it actually does.

Tripp (Lucas Adams) was trying to do a good deed and help some drunk girl back to her room. As they say, no good deed goes unpunished and he’s certainly learning that the hard way since Allie (Lindsay Arnold) has accused him of raping her and has the baby to prove it. Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) ran a test without Tripp’s knowledge and it says he’s the dad.
Yet, Tripp continues to swear that he’s not the one. So how to explain his being a DNA match? Easy! Tripp wasn’t raised with either of his parents. He was sold on the black market shortly after birth. So who’s to say that there weren’t two of them? If a twin brother exists, his DNA would be an identical DNA match, therefore making it possible that he is the dad — and rapist.

Fans have been buzzing that perhaps Charlie (Mike C. Manning), the new intern at Titan who has shown an interest in Claire (Isabel Durant) may be the mystery rapist — but what if he’s also the mystery twin? Could he be a brother and not a twin? Could Ava (Tamara Braun) have had TWO babies taken from her from different pregnancies and given away?
Perhaps, but then this other kid probably wouldn’t have Steve (Stephen Nichols) as his father and perhaps the DNA would not be quite the match that Kayla implies it is. It may have said he was related to the baby but wouldn’t have labeled him as the father? Then again, this is Salem and anything is possible. Will this wild spec happen? Stay tuned.
