The Days of Our Lives recap for July 13-17, 2020, features yet another wedding day mishap, the conformation of a man’s identity and much more.
Days of Our Lives Recap Highlights
Sami’s (Alison Sweeney) chicken’s came home to roast in a big, big way this week. All those years she spent lying and cheating and being selfish and being a piss poor mother resulted in her being excluded from her own twin’s wedding and being one of the last people in town to learn of Allie’s (Lindsay Arnold) pregnancy.
And true to form, Sami made everything worse. And all about her. Guests were insulted, Allie and her wishes were practically shut down and off and the beautiful cake that Nicole (Arianne Zucker) and John (Drake Hogestyn) were so looking forward to tasting wound up a crumbled mess on the floor.
With her work at the pub finished, Sami made her way to Rafe (Galen Gering) and told him how to conduct himself and what answer he should give Allie when the subject of adoption is again broached. Spoiler alert: he is suppose to say thanks, but no thanks, why don’t you give it to your brother.
My How The Tide Has Turned
Last week, we had an in-depth discussion about how quickly a person’s life can change. One minute Gabi (Camila Banus) is reunited with the love of her life and the next she learns that he’s still dead and the man that could pass as is double is actual his identical twin.
One minute Vivian (Louise Sorel) is mourning the loss of her beloved Stefan (Brandon Barash), the next she’s hearing from her trusted (former) manservant that she actually birthed two little boys. One minute she’s alive and the next she’s not (though we all know it’s merely a ruse to get out of her current predicament).
One minute Jack is secure in the knowledge that he a Boston, Massachusetts born and bread grease monkey and the next he learns that he is a multi-millionaire and the scion of two of the world’s richest dynasty’s. Not bad for a day’s work.
Pre-Wedding Disasters
All Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) and Ciara (Victoria Konefal) want is a wedding that goes off without a hitch. But if the past few days are anything to go by – what with the ruined wedding dress and missing engagement ring – then they will have to keep on wanting. At least Claire (Oliva Rose Keegan) was able to come through and save to the dress. Somehow. Days of Our Lives airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
