The Days of our Lives recap for Friday, May 17 features a runaway couple, a furious mama bear, and a shocking twist no one saw coming!
Hiding Out
JJ (Casey Moss) and Haley (Thia Megia) went on the run and struggled to stay out of sight. One wrong move and they knew they would go down. Despite it all, they found a safe place to hide and began to plan how to get her out of this mess.
Calming the Waters
Jen (Melissa Reeves) played hero when she talked Melinda (Laura Kai Chen) off the ledge. The raging mom was planning on shooting Jack during his victory lap but Jen made her see the light. Killing Jack would only hurt everyone, including Haley.
Melinda confessed her secret to Jen. She spilled the whole story of Haley’s birth and giving her up. She loves Haley but could not bring shame upon herself, her family, or the innocent baby. Her only regret was keeping her daughter in the dark all this time.
Hands Off!
Eric also played hero. He saved Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) from Xander’s (Paul Telfer) unsavory flirting. The more she said no the pushier he became. That is until Eric’s fist was in his face!
A Deal with the Devil
Speaking of Xander, Victor (John Aniston) was furious when he found out Brady (Eric Martsolf) brought him back into the Titan fold. He demanded answers. Do not fear, Brady said, he had a plan. It was just too bad his plan did not work the way he expected.
He met up with Xander to exchange the recording and sign the contracts but he made two big mistakes. First, he expected Xander to divorce Nicole (Arianne Zucker), which he refused until he even more power. Then, when Brady did get the recording he put it back in Nicole’s hands.
The Biggest Twist Of All!
As it turns out, Nicole had herself mixed up in quite a mess. She continued blaming anyone but herself for Holly’s death — especially Chloe who felt her wrath. However, it was all a lie. Not only did she know Holly was still alive, but she also helped plan the entire kidnapping.
