The Days of our Lives recap for Monday, September 28, 2020, features the long-awaited confirmation of Henry’s paternity.
Days of our Lives Recap Highlights
Tripp (Lucas Adams) was all smiles when he saw Allie (Lindsay Arnold). She was not, though. She was angry, bitter, and anxious to get away from him. How dare he follow her to Salem? He didn’t. He has family here, too. Allie went off the rails, slapped Tripp across the face, and ran home.
Allie was shaken when she got home. Nicole (Adrienne Zucker) had just finished having a visit with Kate (Lauren Koslow) which had them playing a who’s-the-daddy guessing game. Well, the answer was clear. Allie told her about running into Henry’s daddy. It’s Tripp!
John’s Personality Shift
Over at the hospital, John (Drake Hogestyn) apologized to Steve (Stephen Nichols), who took it well. They would always be friends, no matter what. The important thing is for John to get better. Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) surprised John with his favorite pie. The gift did not go over well. John hates apple pie now.
The couple left when Brady came in. He updated his dad about Kristen and the case. John, of course, did not take well to Brady confessing and let him have it. How dare he?!
An Explosive Tidbit
In the hall, Kayla updated Steve about welcoming Tripp to finish his education in Salem. Steve was delighted. Tripp showed up and shared in the excitement. He just needs to be accepted now.
Then, Tripp’s life took a turn. He told Steve about running into his old friend from London. Steve’s face dropped when Tripp admitted it was Allie. Wait, Allie Horton?! Tripp then heard the bombshell news she left London and came home to have her baby!
Trask Is Out For Blood
Abe (James Reynold) was in the hot seat when Lani (Sal Stowers) cornered him. How dare he hire back Trask? Her vendetta against Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) is clear. Fire her, dad. Fire her right now! Abe refused. They can only hope Melinda keeps a clear head or backs off the case.
Meanwhile, Trask was getting an earful from Brady (Eric Martsolf). He implored her to drop the charges. She had a confession from him, he was caught red-handed, and even Victor (John Aniston) was backing the story. Does she really think she can win? Yes, yes she does.
Trask threw herself into the investigation and went to Eli (Lamon Archey) for answers. She demanded to know everything that went down, and who tipped Kristen off the first time. Eli kept his mouth shut, though. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
