Days of our Lives recap for Thursday, January 28, 2021, features Allie remembering everything, Claire in shock, Charlie making a friend, and Ciara fighting for her freedom.
Allie (Lindsay Arnold) put on a brave face and let Marlena (Deidre Hall) hypnotize her. It worked and she remembered every single detail of the attack. She did go home with Tripp (Lucas Adams), they danced, they kissed, he put her to bed when she went too far. But, he was not the one who raped her.
She finally recalled Charlie (Mike Manning) coming into her room. When he rummaged through her things she woke up and things spiraled from there. He demanded to know why she left the club with Tripp instead of him and grabbed her. Poor Allie was devastated as she relived every single detail.
As for Charlie, he was at Julie’s place making a new friend. He and Gwen (Emily O’Brien) chit chatted about their baddie reputations and bonded over being the second-best children. Their moment stopped short of sharing dinner. Charlie then went home where Tripp confronted him.
Meanwhile, Claire (Isabel Durant) paid Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) a visit. She whined about Charlie and all his lies. How did she not see it coming? This man tortured his mom and raped her cousin.
Ben was sympathetic but had other things on his mind. He admitted he was having trouble moving on. Every instinct was telling him Ciara was very much alive.
Lo and behold, Ben was right. Ciara is alive and being held hostage in a rather pretty plexiglass room.
Meanwhile, Abigail (Marci Miller) had it out with Chad (Billy Flynn) again. She wanted to press charges against Gwen for drugging her but Chad did not think it was a good idea. She just outed the affair and it may look like revenge. Abigail did not care. His reputation meant little to her anymore. She made it clear he talk to the cops or forget about their family forever.
Abigail took a walk to clear her head and her peace did not last long. She came face to face with Gwen. The sisters went at it over the drugging, New Year’s Eve, and everything in between. Gwen went too far trying to mock Abby, which ended with a swift and hard slap in the face. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
